Baseball Schedule Set for 2023 Guardian Credit Union Baseball Championship

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss baseball team opens its inaugural Sun Belt postseason in the Guardian Credit Union Baseball Championship starting Wednesday at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala.
The Golden Eagles open play as the No. 2 seed, Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., against the higher-seeded first round winner. The tournament opens Tuesday with a pair of single elimination contest featuring No. 7 James Madison taking on No. 10 Old Dominion at 3 p.m., and No. 8 Georgia State taking on No. 9 Georgia Southern at 6:30 p.m.
In the other half of the bracket with Southern Miss, No. 3 Troy takes on No. 6 App State at 9 a.m., Wednesday. Southern Miss will either play Troy or App State at 9 a.m., Thursday (loser's bracket) or 4 p.m. (winner's bracket).
Southern Miss finished the regular season at 37-16 and 22-8 in league play.
