On Saturday, Georgia Southern captured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. The pair of Suhana Das and Clara Tardivel went unfinished. With three singles triumphs in straight sets, the Eagles sealed the victory.
The Golden Eagles got their day off to a winning start on Sunday morning as Yazgan and Richter defeated Megan Hopton and Anna Babayan in a thrilling 6-4 match. Unfortunately, the two other Southern Miss pairings dropped their games to give Coastal the doubles point. In singles play, Zenn Lim and Hannah Chambers went unfinished at the No.4 and No.6 spot.
