Women's Tennis Closes Out Road Schedule with 5-2 Loss Against South Alabama

The afternoon started off with Luminita Tutunaru and Tereza Dejnozkova of South Alabama finding a 6-2 over Ebru Zeynep Yazgan and Alyssa Richter. The doubles team of Nikola Novotna and Elysia Pool defeated Clara Tardivel and Maddison Ricardo 6-4 to give the Jags the doubles point after Zenn Lim and Suhana Das' matchup went unfinished.
In singles play, Alyssa Richter defeated Nikola Novotna 6-4, 6-3, to give Southern Miss its first victory. While Zenn Lim's feat over Delien Kleinhans with scores of 3-6, 6-3, and 10-7 gave the Golden Eagles one more point for the day, it was not enough to defeat the Jaguars as Yazgan, Das, Tardivel, and Ricardo fell in their match ups.

The Southern Miss women's tennis team will return home to play their last regular season matchup against Arkansas State April 22 at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex. Admission is free and first serve is slated for noon.
