Men's Basketball to Host Georgia Southern for Senior Day

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss (23-5, 12-3 SBC) men's basketball team will host Georgia Southern (14-14, 7-8 SBC) on Saturday afternoon at Reed Green Coliseum in the home finale for the Golden Eagles. The 12 p.m. tip will serve as Senior Day with Marcelo Perez, Nico Aguirre, Felipe Haase, Tyler Morman and DeAndre Pinckney getting honored before the game.

Golden Eagle Nuggets
- Through 15 Sun Belt games, the Golden Eagles are off to their best conference start in program history since turning Division I. The 1949-50 NAIA team had 14 wins in conference play

- Andrei Savrosov (13.9) and Jalen Finch (10.8) lead the Eagles in scoring at 10-plus points per game
- Georgia Southern endured a rough stretch from Jan. 14 - Feb. 4 when it went 1-6 with losses to James Madison, ULM, Texas State, Louisiana, Georgia State and Old Dominion
