Golden Eagles Finish Day One of The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. -- The first round of play at The Ally has concluded at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss. The Southern Miss women's golf team is in 12th at the conclusion of Monday's round.Â
Momoka Ando posted a four-over 76 to lead all Southern Miss golfers. She it in a tie for 36th. Elena Melich is in a tie for 53rd after a six-over 78. Taylor Trible (80), Jacee Fields (81) and Merche Corbacho (85) rounded out of the team score card.Â
Freshman Ragini Navet, playing as an individual, posted a seven-over 79. She is in a tie for 56th heading into Tuesday's round.Â
Tuesday play will start at 9 a.m. Navet will be the first Golden Eagle off the starting box at 9:50 a.m. The rest will get underway at 10 a.m. in 10-minute increments.
