Men's Basketball Continues Louisiana Road Swing at ULM Saturday Afternoon

MONROE, La. – The Southern Miss (13-3, 2-1 SBC) men's basketball team arrived in Monroe on Friday afternoon ahead of its matchup against ULM on Saturday. The Golden Eagles, coming off a conference loss at Louisiana on Thursday, will tip against the Warhawks (7-9, 3-0 SBC) at 2 p.m. inside the Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

Golden Eagles Nuggets
- The Golden Eagles' 13 wins are the most under Jay Ladner in a single season since he started in 2018
- Their 13 wins are the most before New Year's Day and tie the 13 wins the 2011-12 team recorded before the holiday

- Southern Miss had a record-breaking day in the steals department against Lamar on Dec. 10 as its 21 steals was the fourth most in a single game in program history
- Three days later it set a program record for three-point attempts when it tried 42 at Lamar on Dec. 13
- Pinkcney (7.3) and Haase (6.9) pace the Golden Eagles on the glass, while Pinckney leads the with 117
- Ladner went with the starting lineup of Mo Arnold, Denijay Harris, Crowley, Pinckney and Haase against Louisiana. It was the sixth time he's used it this season and they are 5-1 when that unit starts
Scouting the Warhawks
- ULM comes into Saturday winners of its last three Sun Belt Conference games to start 3-0. It's one of two schools to be undefeated in conference play
- Overall, the Warhawks sit 7-9 with its only other Division I win coming against Lamar on Dec. 17. Southern Miss beat Lamar twice this season
- Tyreke Locure leads ULM in scoring at 14.1 points per game and is coming off a 25-point performance in the win over Georgia State Thursday night
