- Isaih Moore's 25-point, 12-rebound performance against WKU marked only the fourth time a Conference-USA player has recorded those numbers in a single game this season. Louisiana Tech's Kenneth Lofton, Jr. has done so twice (36-17, 31-14), while Rice's Max Fiedler has done it once (30-12).Â

- Against UAB last Thursday, Tyler Stevenson extended his game to beyond the three-point line for the first time in his career. The junior knocked down his first-career three-pointer late in the second half on the fifth-ever attempt in his four-year career.Â
- Against WKU, DeAndre Pinckney recorded his second double-double this season after going for 12 points and 10 rebounds.
- In four of its last five games, Southern Miss posted a season low in turnovers with seven against Rice, then nine against FIU, UAB, and WKU.Â
- Southern Miss' 16 offensive rebounds against WKU was a season best. Moore (6) and Pinckney (5) combined for 11 offensive boards.Â
- Walyn Napper's 2.29 assist to turnover ratio is second-best in C-USA and 53rd nationally.
