Women's Basketball Returns Home to Take on North Alabama

HATTIESBURG, Miss. --Â Lady Eagle basketball returns to Reed Green Coliseum after a two-game road swing with as many losses. Tipoff against North Alabama is set for Friday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m.
Last Time Out
Southern Miss (1-2, 0-0 Sun Belt) enjoys just one day's rest between games after being beaten at Ole Miss Wednesday night 92-46. The Lady Eagles struggled early and Ole Miss capitalized.
The Black & Gold's 1-2 start is as disappointing as it is unexpected. Injuries have hampered the club early on as the Lady Eagles have yet to dress more than 10 players for a game. Notably, Melyia Grayson made her first appearance of the season at Ole Miss and grabbed 10 boards on just 21 minutes.
The 1-2 record is Southern Miss' worst through three games since 2012-13 when they started 1-2 as well.
The North Alabama Series
Southern Miss leads the all-time series, which dates back to 1976, 2-1.
The most recent meeting of the two programs was in 2019 as part of the WBI in Hattiesburg where UNA took their first and only win of the series.
