Women's Golf Signs Ragini Navet

HATTIESBURG, Miss -- Southern Miss women's golf inked Ragini Navet to the 2023 signing class on Saturday morning.Â
"We are excited that Ragini wants to continue to grow as a student and a golfer here at Southern Miss," said Southern Miss head coach Lucy Nunn Burke. "Her passion for competing and drive to test herself will not only continue to push her but those around her. Her passion and energy are infectious, and we cannot wait for her to join us in the Fall."
Navet, a native of New Delhi, India has a resume stacked with international experience, including the US Kids European Championship, The European Van Horn Cup, the Kids World Golf Championship in Malaysia, The FCG International, and the IMG Junior World Championship. Navet has a WAGR Ranking of 1,737. She also picked up her first international win at the Kids World Golf Championship in Malaysia in 2019.Â
The 2023 newcomer finished T6 at the US Kids European Championship in Scotland and was selected to play in the Van Horn Cup at the US Kids European Championship, also in Scotland. She won six local tour events in India and was part of Team India at the 10th Albatross International Junior Golf Championship in 2018 -- she finished 3rd individually.

Nunn Burke is getting a golfer that has four tournament holes-in-One including one at Torrey Pines, during the IMG Junior World in 2022.
