HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss women's basketball welcomes Middle Tennessee on Saturday to bookend a three-game stretch at Reed Green Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. CT at The Greenhouse.

Scouting the Blue Raiders
• Head Coach Rick Insell is in his 17th season leading the Raiders and has posted a 12-4 (4-2 C-USA) mark so far this season.
• The Lady Raiders have five international players on the roster - the most ever for a single season at Middle Tennessee. The previous high for a single season was three. The players hail from Belarus, Canada, Israel, Russia and Spain.
• MT is 109-33 vs. C-USA members since joining the league prior to the 2013-14 season. The 109 wins are the most of any league member during this span.
• MT is ninth nationally for 3-point FGs per game (9.6) and 17th nationally for 3-point FGs made (154). The Lady Raiders have hit eight-plus treys 11 times, and 14-plus three times: Lipscomb (16), UTSA (14), and East Carolina (14).
• MT has held five opponents under 50 points this season.
Scouting the Lady Eagles
• Southern Miss is off to a 7-1 start at Reed Green Coliseum this season, including winning the last five at The Greenhouse.
• Dating back to the 2019-20 season, Southern Miss is 18-1 when holding opponents under 70 points, with the only loss coming against FIU in OT last season.
• Southern Miss leads Conference USA in field goal percentage, shooting at an effective 43.4 clip through 16 games. The Lady Eagles have shot 40% from the field or higher in all but three contests this season.
• Southern Miss currently ranks second in Conference USA with 14.8 assists per game and have dished out 237 dimes on the season. Transfer Domonique Davis leads the league with 69 helpers on the season.
