Golden Eagles to Host Annual Men's Tennis Fall Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss men's tennis team is set to host its annual Fall Invitational at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex this Saturday and Sunday.
"Like every year, we are excited to be hosting this tournament," said head coach Zubin Engineer. "We have great competition this weekend with UAB and South Alabama, so I am eager to see how our guys will compete."
The Golden Eagles will welcome South Alabama and Conference USA rival UAB to town for the event. The two-day hidden dual will consist of doubles play starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday with three waves. Southern Miss will be in the first and third wave. Singles play will start at 2 p.m. with all 12 courts being used simultaneously.
Southern Miss is coming off its impressive performance at the Samford Invitational where they won a total of 20 matches across singles and doubles play. The trio of Christopher Cahour, Dhruv Sunish, and Olimjon Nabiev went undefeated in Birmingham. Junior Alan Sanson will join the Black and Gold this weekend as he makes his season debut.
Admission into the event is free and parking is located at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex.
