Softball Travels to Birmingham to Take on UAB in C-USA Series

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Golden Eagles (21-28, 3-13 C-USA) travel to Birmingham this weekend to take on UAB (26-17, 12-4 C-USA) in a four-game Conference USA series. The weekend will feature a single game on Friday beginning at 6:00 p.m., a Saturday doubleheader at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., and a final game on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. All games listed will be played in Central Standard Time.

Last time out
The Golden Eagles are coming off a C-USA weekend series versus Louisiana Tech. The Golden Eagles fell to the Lady Techsters in three games, but claimed victory in game two 3-1 ending a 13-game skid. The weekend saw outstanding performances from senior Karley Nichols and sophomore Morgan Leinstock.

Program History
The Golden Eagles and the Blazers have met 66 times in program history. The Blazers lead with an all-time record of 33-23 over the Golden Eagles. The two teams last met April, 14 2019 resulting in a 4-0 Blazers' victory.
