Expected Storms Moves Friday Series Opener with UAB Up Three Hours

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Due to heavy storms expected in the Pine Belt Friday evening, the Southern Miss baseball series opener, Friday, April 9, with UAB has been pushed up three hours to 3 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
The Golden Eagles (17-9 overall, 4-3 in Conference USA) and the Blazers (10-16, 3-5) will continue the four-game with a 2 p.m., doubleheader Saturday, before completing the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
The game can be heard on the Southern Miss Sports Network presented by Learfield IMG College and a webstream is available for no charge at C-USA.TV.
