Softball Set to Face North Texas in Denton

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Golden Eagles prepare to take on UNT in a C-USA series beginning Saturday, April 24 in Denton, Texas at Lovelace Stadium. The Golden Eagles and The Mean Green are meeting for the sixth all-time series since 2013. The two teams were unable to meet in 2020 due to the COVID-19 season cancellation.
The teams are set for two doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday with the first pitch being thrown at 1/3 p.m. and 12/2 p.m. respectively.
All four games will be streamed on CUSA.TV.

The Golden Eagles are coming off of a hard-fought midweek contest against No. 5 Alabama. The game saw standout performances from pitcher Morgan Leinstock and senior Alyssa Davis. The Golden Eagles fell to the Crimson Tide 6-3 after seven innings of competition.
