Southern Miss Completes Second Day at MountainView Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. --Â Friend Chompitakdacha collected her first par-round of the season, a 72, to lead Southern Miss on its second day at the MountainView Collegiate.
Three Golden Eagles improved their score from the first day, with Merche Corbacho having the best from a 78 to 74. Chompitakdacha and Julie Baker joined the club as well.
Chompitakdacha has appeared in three tournaments this season, with 20th and 29th-place finishes out of the first two. She is currently No. 32 in Tucson.
Southern Miss sits six strokes behind Tulane and 10 from Fresno State.
