Southern Miss Men’s Tennis to Host Troy

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss Men's Tennis prepares to host Troy on March 14 at 2:00 p.m. The men's tennis squad, led by head coach Zubin Engineer, are undefeated on the season thus far.
Southern Miss looks to extend what has been an incredible start to the 2021 spring season.

Southern Miss has notched four consecutive wins posting the best start to a season since 2005.

The Golden Eagles have seen outstanding singles performances from Christopher Cahour, Olimjon Nabiev, Antoine Audrain, Matthieu Peres and Alan Sanson since their first competition on February 27^th.

The last time out
Cahour clinched two matches giving the Golden Eagles a great chance for victory. Cahour continues to remain consistent for the Golden Eagles on his sophomore season. The France native looks to further his success into Sunday's match versus Troy.

The Opponent
Troy has a record of 14-1 with their only loss coming on February 8^thto North Florida. The team is led by head coach Rolando Vargas who has been at the helm of the Trojan's tennis squad for three seasons.

The Golden Eagles look to claim victory over the Trojans and continue what has already been a record setting season.
