“Inside Southern Miss Athletics” Podcast Returns Wednesday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The new, free podcast called "Inside Southern Miss Athletics, powered by Learfield-IMG College" returns this Wednesday, April 22.
Each Wednesday, a podcast will be released with the Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox, conducting various interviews with Southern Miss former and current Golden Eagles student-athletes, Athletic Department personnel and other special guests weekly.
This week's guests include Southern Miss Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain, Golden Eagle men's basketball coach Jay Ladner and former Golden Eagle baseball player Jeff Cook, who is now the Vice President and General Counsel at Forrest General Hospital. The podcast will be released at 10 a.m. CT.
In addition, the third Classic Game Broadcast will be released Friday, April 24, with the Golden Eagles 2019 Conference USA baseball tournament victory over Rice, in which three Golden Eagles combined to throw a no-hitter over the Owls. A new baseball game will be added each Friday over the next several weeks.
