Baseball Establishes Season Ticket Record

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Department of Athletics announced Friday morning that they established a school record for baseball season tickets sold for the 2020 campaign.
At the end of business on Thursday, Southern Miss reached 1,771 season tickets purchased, surpassing the previous record total of 1,768 set in 2018. The 2019 season saw Golden Eagle fans purchase 1,685.
The Golden Eagles, under 11th-year coach Scott Berry, finished nationally in the top 25 in both overall attendance (91,550) at No. 23 and in average per date (3,052) at No. 20 last season.Southern Miss returns to action this weekend when they play host to Little Rock for a three-game weekend series.
Tickets can be bought by going online at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling 1-601-266-5418 or by visiting the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office weekdays during normal business hours. The Pete Taylor Park box office opens 2 hours prior to the scheduled first pitch on game days.
