Baseball Set to Hold Pair of Spring Break Camps

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss baseball program will play host to a pair of Spring Break camps the next two weeks at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
The purpose of the camps will cover the fundamentals of baseball and a game will be played at the end of each day. Instruction will be provided by the Southern Miss coaching staff and a camp worksheet will be provided to each camp, which goes over each drill covered in camps.
The camp dates are March 12-13 (Camp 1) and March 16-17 (Camp 2) and the cost is $100 and includes a camp T-shirt. The camps run from 9 a.m.-12 noon each day for kids ages 6-13.
In addition, each camper will be given a ticket for a Golden Eagle baseball game – Camp 1 is the March 13 contest versus FIU and Camp 2 is the March 27 game versus Middle Tennessee – and will have the opportunity to wear their camp T-shirt and take the field for the national anthem with their favorite Golden Eagle player.
