HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss softball team (8-3) will host McNeese State (13-2) and Alcorn State (5-12) in midweek matchups.

Southern Miss will take on McNeese State on Tuesday (Feb. 25) in a single game at 6:00 p.m. at the Southern Miss Softball Complex in Hattiesburg.

On Wednesday (Feb. 26), Southern Miss will square off against Alcorn State in a doubleheader at the Southern Miss Softball Complex. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and game two is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday's doubleheader against Alcorn State was originally scheduled to be played on February 19, but was postponed due to inclement weather.

The Golden Eagles posted a 4-0 record in the Michelle Short Memorial Classic in Conway, Ark. this past weekend.
