Women's Golf Concludes Second Day of The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. -- Southern Miss shaved seven strokes off its opening-round score, and the Golden Eagles will enter Wednesday's final round in the No. 15 spot.
Merche Corbacho continues to hold the team's top spot, carding a 3-over 75 that marks the squad's best round of the tournament. Tenley Moretti also had an eight-stroke improvement in the back-nine that included a pair of birdies.
Julie Baker's three birdies led the team for the day. Each Golden Eagle either improved or maintained their score from Monday. The team did the same going from the second to the third at last week's Lady Red Wolves Classic, an average of 4.25 strokes.
Tennessee's Mikayla Bardwell carded a 64 to gain the top spot. Live scoring for the final day can be found on Golfstat.com.
