Corbacho, Pichardo Lead Golden Eagles Through First Round of The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. -- The Southern Miss women's golf team finished its first 18 holes at The Ally on Monday, and Merche Corbacho and Valeria Pichardo both carded 6-over 78s to pace the squad at the Old Waverly Golf Club.
Pichardo had three birdies on the day, which also came over a four-hole stretch. Emily Cox also added three on the day to sit at 9-over 81 with Tenley Moretti. Julie Baker was one stroke behind that pair.
The Golden Eagles are the only non-SEC school in the 15-team field.
