Baseball Start Time for Saturday versus Florida Atlantic Pushed Back Due to Weather

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Due to rain in the area, Southern Miss athletic department officials announced Saturday morning, May 4, that the start time of its baseball game today against Conference USA rival will be pushed back to 6 p.m., at Pete Taylor Park.
The game was initially slated for 2 p.m., but has been pushed back four hours due to the weather.
All of the festivities surrounding the game will continue to take place as the school plans to honor its 2009 College World Series team, as well as the Corky Palmer bobble head giveaway to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.
