Baseball Set to Take on Rice Saturday with Chance to Advance to C-USA Final

With a win in that game, the Golden Eagles advance to Sunday's championship game starting at 1 p.m. That game will be aired live on the CBS Sports Network.
Should the Golden Eagles (36-19) drop the 9 a.m., contest (26-32), the two teams will play again with a scheduled 4 p.m. start with the victor advancing to the championship matchup.
The Golden Eagles are set to throw freshman right-hander Gabe Shepard (1-0, 3.06 ERA) against the Owls in the Saturday matinee.
No. 1 seed Florida Atlantic will play the winner of late Friday's contest between UTSA and WKU in the other side of the bracket.
