
Southern Miss Softball Scheduled to Take on Alcorn State and Alabama State in Midweek Matchups

The Golden Eagles will host Alcorn State in a doubleheader on Tuesday and then travel to Montgomery, Ala. on Wednesday to face Alabama State.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Golden Eagles (11-10, 1-2) will play three midweek games this week, beginning with a home doubleheader against in-state SWAC opponent Alcorn State (2-8) on Tuesday, March 12. The first pitch of game one between the Golden Eagles and the Braves is set for 4:00 p.m. (CT). Game two will follow shortly after the conclusion of game one.

Southern Miss will also square off against Alabama State (9-9) in Montgomery, Ala. on Wednesday, March 13 at 6:00 p.m. (CT).

The last time that Southern Miss took the field, they came away with a 7-3 victory over North Texas on Sunday afternoon. Sunday's win marked the first C-USA win of the 2019 season for the Golden Eagles.
