Men’s Golf Opens Spring Season with 18-Hole Event in South Louisiana

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team opens its spring season with a four-team event in the La Tour Collegiate Challenge in Mathews, La., Saturday, Feb. 2.
Tee time is scheduled for 9 a.m. at the La Tour Golf Club. It will be the first collegiate event hosted on the par-72, 7,120-yard course, designed by PGA tour champion David Toms. For more information about the course, click here.
The Golden Eagles will be joined by host Nicholls, New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana. The teams will play 18 holes in the one-day event. Thirty golfers between the four squads are set to participate in the event.
