HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss baseball team will take on Nicholls in a 1 p.m., fall exhibition game, Sunday, Oct. 28, at Pete Taylor Park.
The game marks the first of two fall exhibitions for the Golden Eagles as they will also travel to Tulane for a 12 noon contest, Sunday, Nov. 4.
"Being able to play two games against outside competition is new this year for NCAA institutions," said Southern Miss coach Scott Berry. "Fans will get a chance to see us not only give our players an opportunity to compete for the spring, but also allows us to work in simulated different game-type situations for us to get ready for our season."
Admission to the fall exhibition contest at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field is free for fans.
