TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Southern Miss men's tennis team is headed back to Hattiesburg after a strong showing in the ITA Southern Regional, picking up doubles wins in the Round of 16 over duos from Mississippi State and Auburn.Â
Tom Cecchetto ultimately finished with two singles and a doubles win (alongside Chung-Han Tsai). They fell to Niclas Braun and Giovanni Oradini of Mississippi State, ranked No. 7 nationally by ITA. Jorman Reyes also earned a singles victory as well as in doubles with Mieszko Kwasniewski, but the pair fell to the No. 37 tandem nationally in Tim Sandkaulen and Filip Kraljevic.

The doubles quarterfinal round will begin Sunday.
