Women's Soccer Match Against Lamar, Canceled

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's soccer team's game at Lamar University has been canceled due to bad weather in the area. The game will not be rescheduled this season.
The Golden Eagles' game at Louisiana Monroe is still scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. Coach Mohammed El-Zare is 1-1 against the Warhawks after last season's 1-0 home victory. Southern Miss out shot ULM 18-9 and forced Brooke Scroggins to make seven saves.
The Warhawks host Northwestern State on Friday before the Golden Eagles come to town. TCU handed the Warhawks their first loss of the season with a 5-0 stunner in Fort Worth, Texas. The Warhawks would go on to lose their first home match of the season to McNeese State, 1-0.
