Haupt Shoots Career-Best at Henssler Intercollegiate

HATTIESBURG, Miss – Valentina Haupt fired a 71 (-1) to cap the final day of Henssler Intercollegiate and end with a career-best total of 217, tied for sixth place overall. The Golden Eagles, competing against 14 total teams, eight with a higher ranking, finished ninth overall with a total score of 895. That total is tied for the fifth lowest 54-hole total on the season.
It was Haupt's second top-10 finish of the season, and she had just three holes above par.
Kelly Erasmus tallied a 226 after shooting an 80 on the day, Nichada Satasuk finished with a 229 after completing an 81 for the round, Henriette Syr's 76 brought her total to 230 for the three rounds, and Emily Ross' final round sum of 83 contributed to the Golden Eagles' 236. Devon Spriddle, competing as an individual, registered a 78 on the day and closed with a 239.
Haupt tallied 37 total pars, tied for the third most over the three days, and eight birds, tied for fourth most. She also owned an even average on Par 4 holes, third best out of the field of 80 participants. Next Up:
