
Men's Tennis Drop Match to Lamar

BEAUMONT, Texas â€" Southern Miss men's tennis drops its first of two road matches in Texas, 4-2.
Jorman Reyes continues to dominate in singles action. Despite dropping the first set in a tiebreaker, Reyes soared past his Cardinal opponent 6-0, 6-4 in the next two sets. Reyes stays perfect and claims his sixth win in singles play, all but one coming at the No. 4 spot.
Chao-Yu Huang also picked up a point against the Cardinals in his 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win at the No. 3 spot. Friday's win marks his fourth win of the season and improves to 4-1.
Huang and Wen-Po Tseng battled at the No. 2 spot for doubles but fell just short in a 6-3 loss.
The Golden Eagles face University of Texas- Rio Grande Valley tomorrow at 10 a.m. UTRGV is 2-6 before facing the Golden Eagles. This will be both teams first neutral site match of the season.
