
Women's Golf Opens C-USA Championship Play Monday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's golf team opens play in the Conference USA Championship beginning Monday at the Verandah Golf Club in Ft. Myers, Fla.
The three-day, 54-hole championship, in which the teams will play 18 holes each day, is being held for the second-straight year on the Bob Cupp-designed Old Orange, a par 72, 6,194-yard Verandah course.
Competition opens Monday at 8 a.m. ET with split tees. Florida Atlantic and North Texas will begin play as a twosome from hole 10, while FIU, WKU and Southern Miss will start at the first tee.
UTEP, Marshall and UAB will also start things off from the back nine, with the first grouping hitting the links at 8:50 a.m. ET. Middle Tennessee, UTSA and Old Dominion -- round out play, going off from hole one at 8:50 a.m. ET.
For every succeeding round, team scores will determine pairings. Live scoring of the 21st annual C-USA Women's Golf Championship will be provided by Golfstat and can be followed here.
The winning team of the 2016 C-USA Women's Golf Championship earns the league's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Women's Golf Championship Regionals.
