Women's Tennis Team to Host Southern University

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss women's tennis team (8-2) will take on Southern University (4-4) on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex. The first 25 fans in attendance will receive a Women's Tennis poster.

The team is coming off a 5-2 loss to Louisiana Tech in the first conference matchup of the season.

Top performers for the Eagles are Alex Kitchen (21-5), Tjasa Jerse (14-6) and Elena Roca (13-5).

Following this match, the team will be on a five-match road trip visiting Georgia Southern, UNC Greensboro, Kennesaw State, South Carolina State and Savannah State.
