HATTIESBURG, Miss -- The Golden Eagles play host to the 2016 Golden Eagle Jam at the Hattiesburg Country Club Oct. 10-11. The team looks to claim their second top finish in three tournaments this season and defend their own course. Four out of the past five years Southern Miss has placed first or second at their home event.
"We are ready to play at home in front of family, friends and fans," said head coach Erika Brennan. "The team works relentlessly to be at their best - we are in a good place ball striking wise and we've been focusing on short game. We get to compete with our entire team this week and what's really cool is that our low scorer could be any one of the eight of them. They push each other daily to raise the bar and that makes for inspired golf. It's gonna be a lot of fun."
