Spriddle Named Second Team All-Conference USA

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Sophomore women's golfer Devon Spriddle was named Second Team All-Conference USA, the conference office announced Wednesday morning.
Spriddle becomes the first Lady Eagle to be named at least second team since 2004. She was one of four golfers to participate in all nine tournaments, averaging a team-best 75.55 strokes per round, which is the second lowest stroke average in school history. She became just the fourth golfer in Lady Eagle history to record six consecutive top-20 finishes.
The Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada fired consecutive 70's at the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational (10/20-22), where she finished in third-place, the best finish of her career. She also set the school record for low-36 hole score (140), while carding the fifth-lowest 54-hole score (216) at the Old Waverly Bulldog Invitational. Spriddle also tied for seventh-place at the rain-shortened Lady Eagle Invitational (3/9).
