Rain Postpones LA Tech Series Finale on Saturday

RUSTON, La. - The Conference USA series finale set for Saturday here at J.C. Love Field between Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech has been postponed due to rain.
The Golden Eagles (13-8-1 overall, 3-2 C-USA) and Bulldogs (9-10, 1-4) are now slated to finish the series, Sunday, with a 1 p.m., first pitch.
The two teams played a doubleheader on Friday in anticipation of the rainy weather today. The Golden Eagles won the opener 13-4, before falling in the nightcap 2-1.
