Women's Tennis Team Falls to FIU 5-2

MIAMI, Fla. - The Southern Miss women's tennis lost in Conference USA action to FIU on Tuesday at the FIU Tennis Courts. Southern Miss dropped to 7-6 overall.
The Panthers earned the doubles point to start the match, winning at No. 1 and No. 3.
In singles competition, Alex Kitchen won a point for the Golden Eagles with a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 5 against Kaitlin Brozovich. Lisa Schneider added another points after defeating Nerma Caluk at No. 3 by the score of 7-6 (5), 6-2.
Southern Miss will face Bethune Cookman at 11 a.m. central time Wednesday.
