
Soccer Claims NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Southern Miss soccer program was recognized for its work in the classroom on Monday, Nov. 24, as the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) announced its annual Team Academic Award winners.
Criteria for NSCAA Team Academic Award includes a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Golden Eagles' program was among 861 soccer teams (279 men, 582 women) that qualified for the award during the 2013-14 academic year.
Southern Miss boasted an overall team GPA of 3.23.
* Note: This award runs one school year behind. This season's (2014-15) will be announced next November. *
