Women's Tennis Concludes Fall Play with Halloween Classic

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's tennis team concluded play in its annual Halloween Classic on Saturday at the USM Tennis Courts.

Kate Lanier lost to Polina Konop of Northwestern State, 6-1, 6-4, in the finals of the Blue Draw. Mackenzie Oskin fell to Megan Blue of Murray State, 6-3, 6-1, then, lost to Hannah Appleyard of Louisiana-Lafayette, 6-4, 6-4, in the Orange Draw.

Lauren May and Lanier teamed in doubles against Sarah Rucco and Simora Horsikyan of Central Arkansas and lost, 8-5, in the Peach Draw. The duo also lost to Alecia Porte and Carolina Masso of Lamar, 8-2.
