Women's Tennis Team Opens Fall Season At UL Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's tennis team will open its fall season at the UL Invitational, Sept. 24-26, in Lafayette, La.

Second-year coach Raynie Theis returns six letterwinners from last year's team that include seniors Stephanie Dellocono, Zoë Lee and Shannon Rogers. The Eagles also return junior Elja van Berlo, sophomores Frances Askew and Vroni van Berlo. Theis welcomes four newcomers Åsa Bengtsson (Helsingborg, Sweden), Alex Bradley (Hattiesburg, Miss.), Kellie Gutterman (Mandeville, La.) and Moorea Williams (Newport Beach, Calif.).

Southern Miss finished the 2010 spring season with a 13-10 record.
