Baseball Game vs. Memphis Suspended

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss and Memphis played six complete innings before the rain and lightning came into the area and forced game officials to suspend the game.

The game is in the top of the seventh with Memphis leading 5-3. The two teams will pick up the suspended game tomorrow afternoon, beginning at 1:00 p.m. after the conclusion of game one they will play the final game of the series, a nine inning game with 30 minutes in-between games.

Tickets for game 30 (regularly scheduled Saturday game) will be honored as well as ticket stubs serving as rainchecks from game 29 (Friday's suspended game).
