Friday's Baseball Game at Rice Postponed

HOUSTON - The Southern Miss baseball team will have to wait one more day to begin the much anticipated baseball series at Rice. Heavy rains in the Houston area forced game officials to postpone Friday's game.

The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday at Reckling Park in Houston. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. and the second game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion on game one.

Tonight's game was scheduled to air on national TV by CBS College Sports but the network is unable to air Saturday's games, despite not airing the game tonight.
