Men's Golfers in 12th-Place Memphis Intercollegiate

Cordova, Tenn. - Southern Miss sits in 12th-place after two rounds of the Memphis Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Memphis.
The annual tournament takes place at Cordova Country Club in Cordova, Tenn. The par-72 course plays to a yardage of 7,259 yards.
Redshirt junior Derek Plucienski leads the squad, as he is tied for 18th-place at four-over par after shooting rounds of 76 and 72 for a 36-hole score of 148.
Freshman Zach Estep is tied for 32nd-place at seven-over par after carding scores of 75 and 76 for a two-round score of 151.
Senior Brent Hobbs is tied for 39th-place at eight-over par after shooting consecutive 76's.
Senior Tyler Hillis is in 49th-place at 10-over par and junior John Kahlden is 14-over par in 63rd-place.
Akron leads the tournament at 10-over par with a 36-hole score of 586. South Alabama is in second-place at 14-over with a score of 590 and host Memphis, along with Arkansas State, is tied for third at 17-over.
South Alabama Jack Hiluta leads the individual competition at three-under par, while Carlson Cox of Memphis is in second-place at two-under par. Louisiana-Lafayette's Ethan Savoy is under-under par in third-place.
The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final round, with Southern Miss teeing off at 8:00 a.m.
