Soccer Falls at UAB, 6-0

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southern Miss soccer team suffered their third straight loss falling 6-0 to UAB Friday night in Birmingham.
"Tonight was extremely disappointing" head coach Scott Ebke said. "We have to regroup quickly and get ready for a good Memphis team on Sunday."
Southern Miss (4-7-1, 0-3-0 C-USA) fell behind early as UAB (5-5-1, 1-1-1 C-USA) netted the games first goal just over two minutes into the contest off the foot off Pascale Pinard for her first goal of the season.
The Blazers continued to pile it own with three more first half goals to take a comfortable 4-0 lead into halftime. In addition to the early goal UAB netted goals in the 25th, 31st and 45th minutes.
UAB netted two more goals in the second half in the 51st and 61st minute to cap the scoring.
Southern Miss managed eight shots in the game though only one was on goal while the Blazers took 12 shots, eight on goal.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Sunday as they travel to Memphis to complete the C-USA weekend road trip.
