Baseball Program to Host Fall Baseball Camp

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss baseball program announced today the details for the annual Fall Instructional Camp, giving high school age players the opportunity to learn from the Golden Eagle coaches and play games at Pete Taylor Park.
The Southern Miss Fall Instructional Baseball Camp is designed to allow high school ballplayers to continue developing their skills after the completion of summer baseball and will run on Tuesday's and Thursday's from September 3rd-24th this fall.
The camp will consist of four teams made up of 15 players on each team. All instruction and coaching will be provided by members of the Southern Miss coaching staff as well as members of the Southern Miss baseball team. All practices and games will take place at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
The camp is open to players who are sophomores, juniors or seniors in high school (graduating years of 10, '11, and '12.)
The Fall Instructional Camp registration fee is $225.00 (with a $100.00 deposit to guarantee a roster spot) and will provide for the following: one game t-shirt, baseballs, field and facility usage, instruction, and secondary insurance coverage.
Due to the popularity of previous fall instructional camps at Southern Miss it is highly suggested to register as soon as possible to secure a roster spot.
