Eagle Landings Set for Omaha

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Dugout Club, has announced that Eagle Landing tailgating events will be held prior to Southern Miss baseball games at the College World Series on Sunday, June 14, and Tuesday, June 16. The events will be located on the south side of Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb.
All Golden Eagle fans are invited to attend the Eagle Landings, but seating and food will only be available to the first 200 supporters on a first-come, first-serve basis. Admission to the event is free, while the cost for the meal is $10.
Sunday's Eagle Landing will begin at 4 p.m., two hours prior to the game versus Texas at 6 p.m. Should the Golden Eagles win their first game, the Tuesday Eagle Landing will be held at 4 p.m.; should they lose, the Eagle Landing will be held at 11 a.m.
Sunday's menu will include grilled burgers, potato salad, baked beans, dessert, tea, lemonade and water. Tuesday's menu will include grilled chicken sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, dessert, tea, lemonade and water.
Should the Golden Eagles advance past play on Tuesday, future Eagle Landing events may be announced. For more information on the Eagle Landing events, contact the Alumni Association at 601.266.5013.
