Men's Basketball Finalizes 2009-10 Television Dates

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss has released its 2009-10 television schedule, as released by Conference USA. In all, the Golden Eagles will be televised six times throughout the year, with the possibility of more games being picked up at a later date. The Golden Eagles will be televised nationally twice this year. Their December 5 game at in-state rival Ole Miss will be shown on Fox Sports Net (Noon), while their February 27 game at Memphis will be televised on CBS College Sports (7:00 p.m.). CSS will carry three Golden Eagle games, beginning with their conference home opener against Memphis (7:00 p.m.) on January 9. Southern Miss plays its next two CSS games on the road. On January 20, they play at UAB at 6:00 p.m. They then play at Houston on February 6 (5:00 p.m.). The Golden Eagles also make an appearance on Fox Sports Net Sports at Vanderbilt (January, 2:00 p.m.). Southern Miss opens the 2009-10 season Nov. 14, at Louisiana-Lafayette.
