Baseball Ranked No. 22 by Collegiate Baseball

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss baseball team is ranked No. 22 in the nation by Collegiate Baseball, one of the top baseball publications in the nation, in its weekly poll, released today.
After a series sweep against East Carolina this past weekend, the Golden Eagles moved up seven places from last week's ranking of No. 29. Southern Miss is currently 34-16 and 10-8 in Conference USA, tying with Tulane for third place. The Golden Eagles are currently on a five-game winning streak, their longest of the season.
Rice (39-9) is No. 2 in the nation, Houston (34-17) is No. 10 and Tulane (34-16) is No. 21.
Southern Miss travels to face conference rival Tulane in New Orleans, La., at Zephyr Field, this weekend, May 12-14. Friday and Saturday's game starts at noon, CT, and Sunday's game will begin at 1 p.m.
