HATTIESBURG, Miss.? Southern Miss senior catcher Brad Willcutt was named Third-Team Louisville Slugger TPX All-American sponsored by Collegiate Baseball today.
With Willcutt?s selection, this marks the third consecutive season that Southern Miss has a Louisville-Slugger All-American, as he joins Jeff Cook and Clint King in 2003 and Matt Shepherd, Jarrett Hoffpauir, Ryan Frith and Austin Tubb in 2004.
The
Willcutt and Southern Miss will compete in the school?s third-consecutive NCAA Regional this weekend, also a school record. The Golden Eagles are the No. 2 seed in
Tournament booklets for the Oxford Regional are sold out, but single game tickets remain available, for $12 for adults and $7 for youths. They can be purchased only at the gate on the day of the game, through the
