Soccer Travels To Birmingham Southern
This will be the fourth match in five games that Southern Miss has played away from the Southern Miss Track and Field and Soccer Complex.
Southern Miss, under first year Head Coach Gail Macklin, is undefeated this season, with a 3-0-1 record. So far this season, the Lady Eagles have carbon-copied last season?s record, as the team currently has the same record as last season, with wins and losses coming in the same spots.
The Lady Eagles won the Kelme Port City Classic with a 2-0 victory over Stetson Sunday. Senior forward Lauren Prewitt was named MVP of the Port City Classic, while senior Micah Stevens and junior Katie McClary were named to the all-tournament team.
Prewitt continues to lead the team and Conference
Seniors Anna Snyder and Leslie Schoeplein have each made two starts at goalkeeper, with each recording five saves on the season. Snyder also has two shutouts, while Schoeplein has one.

The Lady Panthers return 13 letterwinners and five starters from last season?s team that finished
Freshman Ann McIntyre has scored team highs with four goals, four points, seven shots, with six on goal, and one game winning goal. Freshman Caitlin Gordon and junior Jordan Spencer have each tallied a goal and two points on the year, while sophomore Christy Dettmer has recorded the team?s lone assist.
Sophomore Tarra Kohler has started every game as goalkeeper and has 13 saves on the season. Junior Andria Gray has seen action in three games as goalkeeper, and has eight saves on the campaign.
Southern Miss will return to action at home, Sept. 17, against Louisiana-Lafayette.
